2010 – Present: Personal and mysterious expressions about relationship, place, emotion and humanity. Texture is explored using paper, fabric, paint and acrylic medium to convey layered meanings, age, memory and dreams.
2007-2009: Warm and lush interpretations of nature’s intimacy through close up. A limited palette taken from Renaissance painting, using branches, pods, seeds and weeds as a vehicle for a more abstract approach to the outdoors.
2002-2007: Stylized graphic interpretation of the glory of trees. Using color relationships, negative space and the full picture plane to pull in the viewer to see the energy and beauty of the overlooked power outside our windows.
